Common Food for Common Good is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to address local food insecurity through the creation of community gardens and fruit tree spaces, with three primary goals:
1) Supply those in need of food assistance with healthy, locally grown food.
2) Curate a greater sense of community by inviting community members to help work in our gardens.
3) Decrease our reliance on large grocery stores, which will increase our community’s food sovereignty and mitigate the negative impacts of for-profit grocery stores on the environment.
